Reversal

I found myself thinking to try painting with watercolor on cotton canvas and came across this image when exploring the internet to see how this might be done.

So beautiful :) and feels like reversal of some kind too, like seeing the whale coming out of the ocean and diving into the ocean at the same time, being filled with color as he does, observed by the sea gulls, and a man and a woman as well :)

and then when shopping for shoes a couple of days later I saw a painting that looked to be done on glass, so transparent looking, like luminosity, when I looked at the information on the back of it, it said it was a reverse painting done on pexiglass and find myself wanting to try this instead :)
