I thought this was very interesting because I have never heard the word sylphs before. After doing a search I found out some even more interesting things, that sylphs are actually mythological in nature-The term originates in Paracelsus, who describes sylphs as invisible beings of the air, air elementals. “cloud beings” I find that fascinating especially since I live in such a wide-open place that the spring clouds are so towering this time of year and highly volatile. I was standing outside the other day with a friend watching the wisps build into thunderheads. I find the idea that clouds are actually sentient to be very intriguing. I have a poem called conversations with clouds, where I am trying to find solace not so much in the clouds but in their existence. Very nice, I will keep this thought in mind.
