  1. Something else I came across of his that I really enjoyed reading.

a little quote from this article.

All things in this creation exist within you, and all things in you exist in creation; there is no border between you and the closest things, and there is no distance between you and the farthest things, and all things, from the lowest to the loftiest, from the smallest to the greatest, are within you as equal things. In one atom are found all the elements of the earth; in one motion of the mind are found the motions of all the laws of existence; in one drop of water are found the secrets of all the endless oceans; in one aspect of you are found all the aspects of existence. – Kahlil Gibran.

  2. have just recently discovered Kahlil Gibran and i am awestruck! been trying to find some posters of his artwork for sale.

    • thanks Tumel,
have just ordered Kahlil’s complete works and can’t wait for it to arrive. i read Broken Wings on line yesterday and was very moved. will write more soon. have a painful back which makes it difficult to sit at computer very long!!!!

    • Hi Tumel,
was thinking we could have emailed back and forth for a while, however i’ve decided to not continue using my email account , one reason being windows seems to have a strangle hold on anyone deciding to change or alter their account to suit themselves, i thank you for your lovely comments and wish you well on your journey, look after your self.

      kind regards Sue

  3. Kahlil Gibran was a true prophet, his words can move you beyond yourself, beyond this world, to a place where you can know beyond all knowing***

such beautiful energy in his words :)

  4. strange Liz but i picked up my copy of Khalils complete works (hadn’t done so in quite a while!) then received your email a short time after. i find his words so inspiring, i partucularly like his quote re clothes, that they hide all our beauty and none of our ugliness, that holds true even today. have just rediscovered long flowing skirts after a lifetime in jeans and feel profoundly back in touch with my Goddess!!!

    kind regards, Sue

  5. Thanks for posting these paintings. They are very beautiful. Gibran seems to have been an amazing individual. And Sue Taylor, you comments about wearing skirts and being in touch with your inner goddess are lovely. I can’t quite say why, but I find something exquisite about it.

maybe it is within the flow :)

  6. have been having difficult time keeping my higher energies ‘high’ after coming off many years on anti psychotic drug. am about to reconnect with Khalil, the world seems so limiting sometimes, i nearly forget that the ugliness i am aware of is not merely a reflection of my internal state, it really does exist out there. sometimes feel like the millions of concepts floating round my mind are actually other peoples thoughts, have to find my own truth and fly, each new day brings me closer to where i need to be, as the saying goes ‘all of us are in the gutter but some of us are looking at the stars!!!!! just going to have a read from Khalils collected works, the drawings are wonderful, noticed a while back the background. almost figures in the shadows, just like real life!!!!

  7. Hi Sue :)

I find myself curious why you decided to come off these anti psychotic drugs, and of other writings of Kahlil that inspire you :) and of figures in the shadows, I swear I begin to see these sometimes too, little flickers of movement, sometimes beside me, sometimes at a distance and once in front of me, do you keep a journal, a blog?

  8. Tumel, my break from hotmail did not last long, i guess i enjoy messaging people and can’t be bothered fighting futile battles with companies who think they are in control.
i am aware of your other address but not sure why my sons email address keeps coming up on the top of the email when i type yours in. he hasn’t given me an adequate reason for this but i don’t want him reading my messages, (he moved out last week, better for both of us!)
anyway hello!!!! can i ask, not that it makes a bit of difference, are you male, female or other??? no offence will be taken if you don’t want to say!!! ignore my strange comment about whether Kahlils drawings are in colour, i have actually seen that they are ages ago, my perception is a bit out at the moment,

    kind regards Sue

    • in a non-defining kind of way :) I like how you ask whether I am male, female or other :) and that it doesn’t make a difference :)
